Ankh udja seneb, a kemetic love story

By the age of nineteen, I fell in love with an ancient practice. Aligning my breath of life to my movement in a very specific way, I achieved sacred union.

Kemetic yoga is the ancient practice of breathwork and movement, also known as Egyptian yoga or Ari Ankh Ka.

Some poses found on hierolgyphs in ancient temples in Kemet/Egypt show what we now know as modern yoga poses. This is the original yoga.

This ancient practice that led to many self-revelations, spiritual activations, and awakenings unspoken. The best part of achieving this serpent power is the freedom of movement my body now offers. The ability to quickly restore health amongst self is a by product of the practice. My intuitive connection to the world around me has strengthened, along with my sensual nature, and compassion for self and others.

I began by watching Sara Wes, a youtuber who practices Kemetic yoga. I am now studying Master Yiser Ra Hotep, the founder of what we know as Kemetic Yoga. When the practice was brought to the western areas, it was called "Egyptian yoga" which had slightly different language and poses.

Kemetic yoga embodies the spiritual teachings along with the physical movements. One of my goals is to embark on the Tour to Egypt Master Yiser Ra Hotep hosts annually with other yogi's to develop skillset and explore the land.
