Yoga and Tarot club is hosted every Tuesday at the Temple Mother Earth, a holistic healing center in Hillcrest Heights. This nonprofit organization offers a safe space for the BIPOC community through spiritual fellowship, healing practices, kemetic teachings, guidance, and plant medicine expansion. The upmost gratitude for Queen Mother Sonatta Camara, and King James for birthing such a sacred space in our city.
Yoga and Tarot club began with the DC native, yoga practicioner, metaphysician, teacher, and musician D'Andrew Parker. Alongside Madame Mikael, a PG native, yoga partner, healing facilitator, entrepreanuer, and artist. The co-hosted series has been ongoing since February 2022 and still every Tuesday of the week! Join our Telegram, Facebook, Instagram for descriptions and updates of each class.
We invite you to experience the best intentional yoga of your life! Open to all ages, all levels we intend to create a safe space everyone present with the practice. At this weekly yoga club we encourage a $10 donation however, we do not turn anyone away! So join us on Tuesday’s for pranayama breath work, movement and meditation aiming to expand our consciousness and deepen our connection to Self.
D'Andrew leads class with heart warming affirmations, various asanas (series of movements) and powerful mudras (symbols and sounds). He is currently on a journey to attend Rishikesh, India the renound yoga capitol of the world!
Yoga sessions typically last an hour before transitioning to divination with tarot cards. This space allows us to expand on our gifts and intuition through guided practice. No experience is needed for this portion of the club meeting, just an open mind and a deck of cards. Yoga and Tarot has been referred to as alternative therapy by many and a new learning experience by others.

Madame Mikael brings kemetic yoga poses with reference to the hieroglyphs in the ancient temples. References to the NTRU ancient beings with translation to Hatha yoga, chanting, and the teaching of kemetic symbols. Madame’s journey will lead her to the Motherlands to practice alongside other Kemetic yoga practitioners.
On living in an Enchanted Universe. What if I told you that when you accept that you live in an enchanted universe, you’ll just HAPPEN to meet someone who freely gives you two front row tickets to see your favorite music artist? You’ll just HAPPEN to think up the best marketing strategy for your business. You’ll just HAPPEN to go to grocery store and meet the person you’ll spend the rest of your life with. Tomorrow, D’Andrew Presents THE ENCHANTED FLOW. If you can see this message right now, work with the thought form “I accept that I live in an enchanted world of limitless possibility.” August 30th, 2022 5-6:30 PM EST AT TOME 1.0
The African drum is much like the beat of our hearts.
Ranging in volume, tenacity, and rhythm. The beat of the drums inspires creativity, intentional movement, channeling of the Most High within ourselves. What would happen if we were to align our breath and movement to the sound of the African drums? Would harmony be achieved in such a space? Would we awaken to the frequency of our ancestors? Adding the element of live drumming to a Kemetic yoga practice is in our highest alignment to achieve a deeply meditative flow. Focusing on the sound of our breath, beating to our internal drums, moving at our perfect pace. The focus for this class is "What does the beat of our internal drum, reflect upon us? How might we change our rhythm to maintain a productive pace of creative flow?" The Temple of Mother Earth 1.0 welcomes our flow Tuesday September 6th, 2022 at 5pm. Class will begin promptly at 5:10pm-630pm EST.
Be sure to bring a kind donation for this class!
